I have two options to apply my immigrant visa, Family-Based, 1st preference. The fist is the CONSULAR PROCESS, in which case I will go back to China and apply for immigrant visa in Guangzhou Consulate. The second is ADJUSTMEENT OF STATUS, in this case I will stay here and submit my I-485. I am currently in the States on H1B visa. I was told that the Consular Process will be much FASTER than the Adjustment of Status, but I am afraid that if I go back to China, I am taking the risk of being rejected to re-enter the States on my H1B visa in case that my immigrant visa application is denied.
