EB2 should move faster or at least as fast as EB1. I know a few people who applied EB1-OR and NIW at the same time. Their EB1 got approved, but their NIW applications were all asked for REF. So their I-485 are all go with their EB1. These people work in all kinds of areas, including engineering company and bio-medical field. I feel that EB1-OR is much easier than NIW. And also there are not many companies want to sponsor EB2 applications due to the high salary requirement. Anyway, this is just my personal opinion.
