我们是从大瀑布进的关，可能是因为和老妈一起去（老妈就跟我们一起顺便去玩儿的），所以引起了officer的怀疑，问我们是自己的车还是租车，我们说租车。她说我们这次只要不是physically move过来，就不能申请枫叶卡，但从这天开始就算是永久居民了。同时还问了我们在美国的情况，然后说我给我们了个表“address notification -- permanent resident card"， 说我们搬过来的时候把表寄出去就可以拿到卡了. 然后在landing paper上写了note " H1, working and staying in USA. given address notification."
真是不顺。感觉这个口可能进出的人比较多，officer要tough一些。不知大家有没有碰到过这种情况的。我们仔细研究了这个address notification的表。上面明明写着“notifiy address within 180 days of the entry into canada. otherwise, there will a applicable fee ...."这不是说180天之内就得交表吗。也没说非得physically move进来啊。大家谁有这样的经验啊？
