I have a great problem. I am still waiting for my J-1 visa, however, I need to take something for my sister in CA. In fact, I have a B-1 visa (10 years type), but according to Staff in US consulate, he said I might not enter USA even my job is in NY but I go to CA this time for one week. I need to take the risk to come back. Anyone have similar experience or any regulation in USa..about one cannot enter USA when one is applying another type of visa. many 100000 thanks.
