question about AP MM_Star 文学城

I am going to go back China with AP recently. When I depart from US, what should I submit to Immigration office in Custom? When I come back, should I submit the original AP or copy (I first time use AP)? What do they give me? What should I pay attention to? During I am in China, does my 485 application process stop?
