Personal Background (not strong at all)
Ph.D in Mechanical Engineering from US school (top 50 Univ.)
PostDoc in Aerospace Engineering in top US school
4 first author conference paper only, no citation what so ever
project is benefiting military and environmental protection, (aeroacoustic, noise control)
8 reference letters for original submission, used up the big names already including the member of national science academy (pity)
9 reference letters for RFE including the memo from project sponsor director, others are really independent sources I know from conferences. one from National Lab, one from NASA Langley center, rest are from Korea, Turkey, UK...
It is pain in the neck that VSC is slow, my friend use my lawyer to submit application later than me to NSC in a rush last late September, but he got approved even after RFE in this Feb.
Anyway, kind of relieved now, still some more time to wait for eventual 485 approval.
