To all the gurus around here:
I understand that I can switch jobs after filing I-485 for more than 6 months, provided the new job is in the same category.
I've heard that if the new job is located in a state within a different service center, my case will be transfered to the new servie center. This may prolong the already tedious processing time.
Here is my scenario:
I live in Ohio and my current company is in Ohio. I filed my employment based I-485 to NSC. I got a job offer from a company whose headquarter is in New York.
My new job doesn't need me to relocation since its a consulting position. I still live in Ohio. I am recommended to invoke AC-21. Will my case be transfered to VSC?
