As I know, a lot of cases failed because the attorney is not qualified. Some attorneys even were qualified themselves, but when they hire more employees, they do not take of cases themselves, and made a lot of simple cases failed.
In US, every attorney is doing a good marketing job; he or she uses different way to get business. But after receive down payment, many of them will change their faces.
Why? Before contract, he or she tries to get you, but after contract, you have no choices. They will change the way to treat you, you are in a total different position. For example, before contract, they will pick you call and set up time to meet you, after contract most times, they do not pick your call any more, because when you call, that secretary will ask your name, then always let leave message.
A friend of mine who was in Washington.
When he started to research which attorney is good, he got very kindly many answers from different offices.
But when he picked up one, even the price is 3 times higher than other offices, he believed it must be the best one in washington.
But after he paid the deposit, he waited 30 days , and never had any information from there. He called, but only can left message. he went to that office many times, that attorney’s face had been changed total different from the beginning.
His case was total failed. it took almost a year, and the letters from immigration office to attorney, were asking documents, additional information and so on, that attorney never did ,even SSN was wrong.
So, I suggest you better find the attorney who has a very good reputation. We do not have time and money to try one and another one.
