My H1B application was ted on 07/18 and the INS got it on 07/19(they stamped 07/19 receipt in application form). But the application was returned and delivered to my attorney on 07/26. The reason on the notice is "the capacity of H1B high degree exemption has been reached". My attorney thought INS made a mistake so reted the application on 07/26 and indcated the application was returned by mistake.
But even until now, my attorney still does not get receipt number from INS for my case. we ted my application as premium processing.
May I get some advice from you for what I'm supposed to do next?
