请教小白兔 TN gap with H1B desertstorm2006-08-15 05:06:49

I am currently working under TN which will expire on Sept07th.I have got my H1B approval notice WITH the new I94 valid from oct 1. There is a 20-day gap between the 2 visas anI plan to renew TN, I have questions.

1. If the renew TN has another departure number, after Oct.1 do I had to go back canada to get H1B visa?(renew TN will changed the departure number that same to the H1B's).

2. If I do not renew TN,go back canada on Sep. 10 and re-entering US on Oct 1, Can I enter us with approved letter only (I94 came with H1B approvement)?
