Thank you for your advice in advance. I got GC but my hu*****and's is pending. He filed I485 last September as spouse and stopped registration in his school this Spring. Now he was told by the OIS office of his school that USCIS (in processing his 485) has called and was informed of his lack of F1 status. The OIS officer warned us of the serious outcome. We are worried about ......Is this a big negative factor to his application? (our attorney said it is legal and OK to quit F1 when 485 is pending but the OIS doubted on it) What should he do?
