MyTwoCents, I-140 SOC wait_for_luck2006-08-24 15:55:53

Thank you MyTwoCents. I'm filing I-140 by myself.

I'm wondering they're different codes since the SOC on I-140 has only 6 digits but the occupation code on my approved LC has 9 digits starting with 020.

I followed the I-140 insruction and searched SOC online, It seems that all SOCs are 6 digits begining with 13, 15, 17, etc. (all odd number). The numbers do not match my LC occupaiton.

look at your H1b application form, it has SOC code
