my friend just had a family based I-485 interview. everything went fine except the interview officer said, "we can issue you a green card due to your priority date went to backward." my friend's priority date was April 2001, and because of retrogression, the PD is Jan 1998.
we are not sure, if PD become current again, are we going to have another interview or the green card will be mail to our home.
We have asked that question to the interview officer, he is not sure, and he expects no more interview.. stuff like that. he said.
I wonder someone had that experience before or some knowledge on that, please share.
