J1 in US 3 years and have opportunities to be extended(in J1)or transfered to F1 (in Ph.D program with fellow ship) in TJ.I have an intention to be an F1 to get a dgree in US.
But I learned that even I got F1 visa without 'SUBJECT TO TWO YEARS REQUIREMENT'(I knew someone did so with the same situation), I am still need to be waivered if I want to work in US after I finish F1. My question is that if this is true and can an F1 apply for waiver? How to do it? Please share your experience and give me suggestions.Thanks a lot
