I just returned to US after Canada landing. Several questions still are not sure. We used AP to return to US because our 485 are still pending(nearly 3ys).When we were in the port office for our new I-94, an officer said like "No country allowed you are permanent resident while you are (applying) other country's permanent resident". I understand her meaning is the canada or us don't allowed you to hold both canada and us PR status. I learned more information here that lots of people land canada while 485 pending and they are all look like sure that canada landing will not affect their us PR application, could anyone tell that he/she has gotten us PR after once landing canada?
By the way, the purpose in our new I-94 were DA, not AOS, anyone know the difference of AOS and DA on the I-94 when you use AP to return to us? What DA means? Does DA means that my previous AOS status/485 were lost?
