What will happen if I lose job after using EAD jiebai2006-09-07 16:58:42

Now I am working under H1b status which will be expired next Feb. And my job offer is to next March. If I use EAD to work from next Feb to March and then get my job lost, do I have to go back to China to apply H4 again (my wife is H1) or just fine to stay?
