My hu*****and's 485 is still pending.
Tha was a very long waiting for name check. I learned a lot from here, and was encouraged by many friends here.
My experience is that if you call USCIS, do not stop at those girl representatives. Try to let them transfer you to some officers, who are the people working on some cases.
On the other hand, when you have been waiting for your GC for long, do be too upset. You can still live as if you had GC. It is not an important thing in daily life. Don't let it ruin your daily life. Just be happy over all the things other than GC. My coworker got his GC 18 mons earlier than me while we sent out our application together. Another coworker got his 12 mons earlier while his application is more than 2 years later than mine.
I believe everybody will get his/hers.
