I entered the U.S. as F-1. Though I got a permanent job and tranferred as H-1, my visa status is still F-1 (haven't gone back and re-entered as H-1 yet). Last year I replaced my passport (I have both old and new passport, with different passport id number. Long story-I thought I lost the old one so applied for a new one at D.C., but later on I recovered the old one. Chinese embassy cut a corner of my old passport.). I have visa stamp on the olde passport. Do I need to revalidate visa? at where and as which status (i.e. F-1 or H-1)?

Thanks very much for your advise.
