and I got my labor certificate approved one week ago. I am going to file I-140 and 485 concurrently within Sept. or early Oct.06. At same time, I will apply for EAD and AP for both of us.

My questions are:
1. If my wife does not receive EAD before her current H1-B expiration date, does she need to renew her H1-B in order to keep a legal status?

2. Can she work without renewing her H1-B while her EAD application is pending?

3. I heard that I-140 takes about 90 days to be approved, if not, we can get a temp one from a local INS office. Is it still true because some lawyers said the policy to get temp EAD from a local office will be terminated on Oct.1, 2006

4. Can we file I-140 and 485 concurrently first and maybe a couple months later, apply for EAD and AP while the I-140 and 485 applications are still pending?

Sorry, maybe I asked too many questions at one time. It is really urgent because I need to give our company lawyer my final decision tomorrow. I am waiting online. Thank you very much.
