I ted I140 (EB1 based) and I485 concurrently on 7/22/06. Today I got I485 update emails saying
"On September 18, 2006, your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status was received here for processing. We will mail you a decision as soon as processing is complete. You can use our processing dates to estimate when this case will be done. Follow the the link below for current processing dates."
What does this mean? The LUD of my I140 is still 7/22/06, so I do not think they will even begin to process my I485 case. Is this just a routine update?
