Hi fellow experts:
I am filling the questionnaire for I140. There is one question is:
Have you received public assistance in the U.S. from any source, including the U.S. government or any state, county, city or municipality(other than emergency medical treatment), or are you likely to receive public assistance in the future?
Our situation is: Our son had received medicaid from the state after he was born when we were still in school. But he is US citizen and we haven't had medicaid. Moreover, my wife received WIC when she was pregnant, and our son received WIC assistance too after he was born.
Both my wife and I are working now, and we don't think we are likely to receive public assistance in the future.
Can any one kindly tell us whether we should say yes to the question just say no. I, myself, have never received any assistance, my wife had WIC. My son doesn't need to apply for immigration.
