I am filing the form for my mom for her extension and I am applying for my
H1-B visa now (changing my status from F1 to H1).

In part 3, I am not sure what the answer should be.

3. Is this application based on a separate petition or application to give
your spouse, child or parent an extension or change of status? Yes No
