Hi, I have a question as follows:
Previously, myself applied NIW and currently pending 485. Now, my company's labor cert is approved, and we are preparing my 140 and 485.
My company's lawyer just sent me the following email:
***'s request to file a second I-485 based on the company I-140, the likely result of this is that the CIS will ask for one of the cases to be withdrawn or will reject the second filing until the first is withdrawn. A person can obviously not be granted PR status twice and the CIS is not happy when they are asked to duplicate work.
What should I respond to the lawyer?
