I ted GC application to VSC under EB1b(OR). While my I140 was approved on Dec 05 without RFE, both my and my wife’s I485 have been pending since May 05 due to “name check”.
Now I could not stand my wife’s attitude, criticism and altercation. And I am pretty sure that she is fed up with my low position as postdoc, sweated salary and therefore life on shoestring budget.
However, I still hope that she could get her GC since she has been staying at home for more than 5 years as H4 without job and education.
Then the question is: given that we receive GCs one day, how long shall I, as the main applicant, keep waiting before getting divorced so that hers isn’t affected?
