I'm in the process of H1 visa extension (for the 4th to 6th year).My wife is currently holding a H-4 visa. We have pending I-140 and I-485 application (EB-2 RIR labor certificate-based application). She has received the EAD card but hasn't used it yet. But she is planning to use it if she can find a job. My questions:
1.Is it worthy for her to apply for H-4 visa extension? As far as I know, she will lose her H-4 status anyway as soon as she starts to use the EAD card. Is that true?
2.Will she maintain her legal status if she doesn't extend H4?
3.If she can't find a job and doesn't use her EAD card, can she still get her EAD card extension annually?
