I have contacted the congressman for my case a while back. My PD is current since Oct 1, did FP on Oct 6, still pending. Today, the assistant at congressman office told me that they sent an email inquriy on Nov 8 and received response on Nov 14. It seems very quick. However, the response said that CSC needs more time to find out why the case is not approved, whithin 30 days, it will notify congressman office the research result.
On one side, it is good, that CSC doesn't say the case is pending for FBI name check kind of shit.
On the other hand, I feel worry, why would it take 30 days for them to find out why the case is not approved.
Anyone has similar experience please shed some light.
