Ask xiaobaitu and other daxia: I485 notice goodluck992006-11-28 15:36:47

Here is my situation: my wife is the primary applicant. She already got the Green Card a couple of months ago. Don't know why my I485 is so delay.
Today, got the USCIS web site update with the following info:
On June 29, 2006, we received this I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS, and mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case. Please follow any instructions on this notice. We will notify you by mail when we make a decision or if we need something from you...

Is this usual? I called the USCIS 1800 number a couple of weeks ago. Don't know if the update is related to the call.
