I-140 pp notice via email? centerstage2006-12-07 21:31:03

I ted my premium processing for I-140 this Monday, and today the university staff fowarded me an email from USCIS indicating so. But how come I didn't get such an email notification? I registered on USCIS website to get email notice. Plus if I went online to check my status, it's the old one without any updates. What's happening here, can anyone help me clarifying this?
