AP renewal was denied. Any negative effect? texas55552006-12-11 23:06:15

I have a AP which will be expired in next April. For some reasons, I have to leave US for China in the Dec, and come back in the end of next May. So current AP can not cover next May. I sent the AP renewal to TSC in this Oct, but got denied last Friday with no appeal permit. Is there any negative effect on future AP renewal? What should I do for this? Thanks a lot.
