I am a regular visitor of this site in search for helpful tips by reading most posts. Recently I got an E-mail alert from NSC on my I-485 updates. I was told both my and my wife's I-485s were approved and approval notices were sent on December 18. So far I have not got the approval notices yet. I do not necessarily worry about the approval notices. But I do want to get an general idea on how longer I should wait before THE CARDs arrive. I know several experts are very active at this site, please offer your comments.
Here are my case timelines if it can help you on your case.
RD: I-140(EB-2/NIW), 09/03/2005, VSC.
RD: I-485s (me and my wife, based on EB-2/NIW), 09/26/2006, VSC.
Tranferred to NSC: I-140(NIW) and I-485s, 05/2006.
RD: I-140 (LC, PD: 02/2003) without I-485, 09/2006, NSC.
RFE: I-140 (NIW), 08/2006; Responded on 11/02/2006.
Approved: I-140 (NIW) and I-140 (LC) approved, 11/03/2006.
RFE for I-485s: 11/13/2006; RFE for spouse's I-485 responded on 11/26/2006; RFE for my I-485 responded on 12/12/2006.
Approved: I-485s (mine and my wife); 12/18/2006.
For certain reason I got a feeling that NSC let my I-485 based on my EB-2/NIW encapture the PD of my EB-2(LC) without my request, but I can not prove it.
