今天在老公的陪同下去见了移民官. 问我是不是已经破坏了我的居住连续性. 移民官看了我的绿卡, 然后哈哈大笑. 说我们完全不用担心. 只要我离离境不连续超过1年. 就算朝过了, 只要你有强硬的证据证明你的婚姻有效性也是不会有任何问题的. 我说我怀孕了, 他马上说, there you go~~
我问我可不可以再去中国旅20天, 他说, have fun, enjoy your trip~
好高兴啊! 今天晚上就定机票.
看来有些文件也不是一定要照本宣科的. 真是一场虚惊.

今天和朋友聊天，说道暂时绿卡离境的问题。 我一直想当然的以为只要每年不离境超过半年就万事大吉。 今天一查移民局资料才发现， 必须
reside continuously in the united states, that is, since becoming a temporary resident alien no single absence from the united states exceeded 30 days, or the total of all absences has not exceeded 90 days.
If you are absent from US ....., you will break the continuity of your residence unless you can establish to the satisfaction of USCIS that you did not, in fact abandon your residence in the US during that period.
我去年夏天赶老爸60岁生日， 7月中旬回国。 然后等老公9月中旬拿到假期到中国旅游，才一起回家。 前后一共离境75天左右。我是不是已经break the coninuity of my residence? 这都有什么后果呢？我该做什么来补救呢？什么才算是establish to the satisfaction of USCIS that i did not abandon my residence?
