LCA (for H1B)application Q? 111111222007-02-21 04:42:14

I am planning to apply for H1B in April. When I fill up 9035E form, what starting date should I use? (the starting date 10/01/2007 and ending date 10/01/2010 are not valid, because the starting date have to be in 6 mon, and ending date have to be in one year). Do I have to wait till April to apply for LCA? Thank you for any input.
