XiaoBaiTu and experts, Q on citizen application:

I have accumulated 3 years of living in the US after getting green card. For the next 2 years, I plan to reside in mainly China. I will travel back to US every 3-4 month and stay briefly, to keep the continuity of my green card. Can I apply for Citizenship 2 years later?

As far as I know, the requirement for US citizen application are the following:

1. Green card for >5 years.
2. During the last 5 years, have not been out of the United States for >30 months.
3. Since becoming a Permanent Resident, have not been out of the US for > 6 months (continuity of green card).
4. Have resided in the state in which you are applying for citizenship for > 3 months.

However, I also heard that the 30 months need to be spread evenly among the 5 years, meaning >6 month/year. In that case, I am not qualified. Please advise!!!

Thanks a lot!
