China-US tax treatie and Green Card iamtom2007-03-20 03:27:31

Does anybody know about the China-US tax treatie that exempts Chinese professors and researchers' income tax for 3 years? My question is that, if having filed green card application, can one still benefit from this treatie? In other words, does using this treatie affects green card application?
