My new employer is transferring my H-1B. I was told that I should not stop working for my current employer until the get the transferring receipt from USCIS. I have some vacation hours, but can I use unpaid leave after that? There are tons of H-1B in USCIS now. I don't know when I can get the receipt.
What other things I need to be aware of during the transfer?
