I've been trying to invite my mother over to visit me for several years, but not yet succeeded. She was rejected B2 visa for FOUR times in Shanghai. TMD!
So we threw away her old passport -- which has all the rejection records, and got her a new passport in 2002. Now we decide to make her try once more with this new passport.
Here comes the question. Since the new passport is a clean one that doesn't have any rejection mark and her last failed application was in 2001, when filing her visa application form this time, is it OK to say she never applied visa before? Would US consulate somehow find it out?
If you had similar case before, either failed or succeeded, could you please kindly share your experience?
Thanks a bundle!
