I filed my NIW (concurrent I-140/I-485 and my wife's I-485) in September 2005 and got 140 approved just one month later. Two questions:
1. I just received another finger print appointment notice. I've done that once when I the files and twice for EAD applications in the last two years. What is it about this time?
2. I got an email regarding my wife's I-485 today, mentioning "earlier approval". Quote below:
"Application Type: I485 , APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS
Current Status: Document OTHER THAN CARD manufactured and mailed.
On May 1, 2007, we mailed the document we manufactured based on our earlier approval of this case, and mailed it to the address on we have on file. You should receive the new document within 30 days. If you do not, or if you move before you get it, call customer service."
Does this mean that she got approved? What about me? Isn't her case based upon the approval of my case?
