After 10 months waiting, I got feedback from my EB1A. But unfortunately it is a horrible RFE:
1. Award:
I have one provincial award from China. They think it is not international. So this criterion has not been met
2. Membership:
I am full membership of Sigma Xi. They think this membership only depends on your education level or years of experience. So this criterion has not been met.
3. Media report
This I really do not have. My lawyer count my citation to this criterion. So definitely they will not accept it.
4. Original contribution of major significance
My lawyer listed my 24 citation under this criterion. They did not accept it.
5. Publications
I have 12 papers (all English, 5 first author, 7 second author, all on top journals in my area), and 6 conference presentations, with 24 total citation within 3 years (excluding self citation). They said the citation number is so limited. So this criterion has not been met.
6. Leading or critical role
They need testimonial from the Board of Organization or official documentation from universities. I have letters from my advisors, but I do not have letters from university chancellors or Boards. So this criterion has not been met.
It is terrible to receive this kind of RFE. I do not think my case to be very strong, but I also do not think my case is so weak, as they said. Does all RFE looks like this way?
