I started with a company during my OPT. They filed H1B for me several months before my OPT expired.
My OPT expired in 11/2002. However, my H1B status was not granted until 02/2003 because the company failed to respond to RFE quickly.
When I fill out the working experience part on G325A for I485, should I disclose this gap? In other words, should I put down my work experience with that company as
07/2002 to 06/2004
OR
07/2002 to 11/2002
02/2003 to 06/2004
I am concerned that USCIS will question my status if they see a gap. However, if I make it look continous, that will show that I worked illegally when my H1B application was pending.
