I am the one who has LC approved with higher prevailing wage. Employer can't increase my salary so they can't continue filing my 485.

One option: file I140 using current LC, then change to another group with different job title, refile LC using PERM, after new LC approved(hoped with lower prevailing wage), transfer the old PD from my old LC to the new one, so I will not lose the old PD. Mr. Thanqu just kindly replied to me that it is feasible do even the two jobs are different. My problem is to refile another LC takes at least one year(including I found a job within company, preparing docs and so on), which may not be a good idea. And I don't know whether I can change company or I have to find a different job but still with the same employer in order to use my old PD.

Today I got another option. There may be some LC(with same job title as my current LC) from others I can use. But this LC is with late PD(Jan. 2007). So one suggestion is to still file I140 using my current LC. Then transfer my old date to this new LC from others. If we can finish all the steps before 7/16(deadline for subsitution), then I can continue with 485.

Since the LC from others is with late PD, in order to keep my old PD, I have to use my current LC to file I140. If I chose to do that, my current LC will be gone. I can't use it if I refile a LC with new job. Right?

My question is
1. Once file 485, am I locked in one position? Even I want to leave the company 6m after 485, I have to find the similiar job to my current one? true?

2. Can I understand that if I chose to change to another job, basically I can change to a different job. The cons is just to take another year to refile the LC. although later I still can use my old PD.

3. If anyone would have any suggestions on comparing these two options, I would highly highly appreciated.

Once I go through my case, I will help other people on the board. Thanks a lot!!
