请教: name check 后的 background check 石榴2007-06-12 19:55:07

My I-485 Name check was cleared in early April. I called in late May to inquire the status of my case and was told that my background had been under investigation.

Does any one have any idea about this background check, how long it usually take? I filed my I-485 in October 2002.
