Do I need my I-94 anymore? mm3332004-03-26 03:02:38

I've been granted permanent resident status(conditional green card by marriage). The officer who interviewed us tood my I-94 away. I don't know if I can go out of the U.S.A. without my I-94. How do they know that I'm out of the U.S.. Thank you for your answer.
