I just got my advanced parole and plan to go back China by the end of this year. My lawyer suggests me to get H1B visa in US embassy(Shanghai) still and only use advanced parole as a backup in case my H1B was declined.
My question is if they won't decline my H1B visa, instead put me on hold for security background check. Can I just ignore them and use advanced parole to go back US?
What kind of impact will this be to my future application especially how will this affect my parent's future visa application?
