I am going to graduate in Dec. Right now I am F1. I got an offer recently and the company is willing to apply for H1-B at any time (hopefully). My concern is:
1. Can the company send in the application right after April 1st? My understanding is that all application submitted after 4.1 will not be processed until after Oct. So is it possible that the application is simply put "in line" and hold a place for me?
2. Because I need to keep my full-time student status to receive scholarship, I do not want to change from F1 to H1B before I graduate. Is it possible that the H1-B will not be approved until three months after Oct. when I graduate in Dec? The tuition is super expensive and I have to have the scholarship.
3. Please let me know whether it is workable. If not, what I can do? I do not have OPT and I do not want to wait for another year for the H1-B.
