My wife and I sent our own LC application seperately. She got her LC on Dec, 2006 and filed I-140 and I-485 application on Jan,2007. We got I-140 approval Feb, 2007. We're still waiting for the result of I-485, but no any progress till now.
Last month I got my LC approval. Do I still need to file my I-140 application? I heard that
one family are allowed only to file ONE I-485 application. Is it true? Can it do any good if I file my I-140 application now? For example, if her I-485 failed, we could use my I-140 appval to refile I-485 and have a better chance to get our Green Card.
I haven't told my employer and my lawyer about my wife's I-140, I-485 application. Do I need to
let us know?
