I plan to apply I-485, AP and EAD together in this coming July, and I
am preparing the documents.
1) Should I include multi-copies of some documents?
For example, I-485 needs a copy of passport ID photo page,
and valid status document(J-1, H1B et al.), and I-131(AP) also needs a copy of passport ID photo page, and valid status document. Should I include two or three copies of those documents (maybe I-765 (EAD) also needs them)?
2) What's the I-131 (AP) Class of Admission?
I hold a J-1 in 2001 to enter USA and never left USA since then. My current status is H1B. How should I fill in that question?
3)In form I-131, "On a separate sheet of paper, please explain how you qualify for an advance
parole document and what circumstances warrant issuance of advance parole." How should I answer this question ?
4) About Notarized marriage certificate
I get married in China, and marriage certificate is in Chinese, How can I
get it notarized? May I translated it by myself and then go to the bank for
Notary? Or, I have to ask others to translate and sign it.
5) my I140 is done by the Attorney, Is it easy to file I485, AP and EAD by myself? What's the disadvantage of filing I485 by myself? Frankly, I want to save some money.
