I never told them I need H-1B sponsorship since they never ask about this issue during the whole process. (I’ve just start my second Master program after using up one year OPT, so no more OPT, the company is 400 miles away from school, CPT is not practical either, right?)
I plan to tell them that I can work for them without pay now, and they can pay me back later when I get H-1 in October. Not sure if they are willing to do this kind of trick for me, it is a <100 people private company.
Normally I will be asked H-1B issues in the process of the interview, however this is not the case in this company's two phone + on site interviews.
Any suggestions on the best things I should do now to secure this offer if possible?
Need to get back to them next week and desperately waiting for inputs.
