I have only one doubt regarding the Policy Clearances (无犯罪证明). Based on the instruction of I-485, this item is NOT required. On page 3, it says "If you are filing for adjustment of status as a member of a special class described in an I-485 supplement form,please read the instructions on the supplement form to see if you need to obtain and police clearances, in addition to the required fingerprints, with your application." But, we're NOT filling any I-485 supplement form, right?
In addition, the check list a lawyer gave to my friend doesn't include 无犯罪证明.
However, if we do need 无犯罪证明, we studied in Singapore for 2 years before we came to the US, do we need get 无犯罪证明 in Singapore?
