07/17/2007: USCIS Deal Reached
* Various sources confirm that the USCIS has finally reached the deal, which will be announced within today. As to the specifics of the deal, there are differences in reports that one report indicates that the USCIS will retreat from their July 2 announcement that they will reject all the EB-485 filings received on or after July 2, 2007 and will announce that they will accept the EB-485 applications based on the DOS' initialy July Visa Bulletin (everthing was current other than other workers). Besides, in order to recover the past 17 days in July during when people could not file, they will accept the applications until August 17, 2007, which will be 30 days (one month) from the date of announcement, July 17, 2007.
