Does the processing fee have to be paid by the company check? Can the H1B employee pay the processing fee using his personal check? A friend is waiting for this information to decide whether to accept an offer. The offering company is not willing to pay for any of the these fees, neither the processing fee nor the attorney fee, they are willing to sponsor his petition though. This guy is willing to pick up the bill but the HR told him by law it is NOT-allowed to pay USCIS with personal check for H1B petition. Is there really such a law?
